We are totally committed to a policy of increasing the sustainability of our operations. This requires us to consider environmental protection, social progress and economic growth for all aspects of our service delivery in a way that protects the environment and promotes efficiency.

This is achieved through a process of continual improvement in accordance with established best practice. Wrekin have established integrated environmental policies across all respective work streams and continue to work on implementing these across the business and supply chain. We recognise the importance of working together with our clients on sustainability issues and are currently assessing how we can be most effectively involved in developing and implementing effective policies and practices in this area.

We have demonstrated our commitment to more environmentally sustainable practices through our environmental policy and by achieving external certification of Environmental Management Systems to ISO 14001. Recognising the need to fully engage our supply chain in Wrekin’s ‘environmental vision’, key suppliers are selected through careful evaluation of their environmental practices and commitment to ISO 14001.
