RTPI Awards 2007 - Barker's Pool

Wrekin Construction is proud to have been at the RTPI Planning Awards ceremony with our client Sheffield City Council to see them collect the City and Metropolitan Areas Award for “Sheffield’s Gold Route”. The prestigious award was presented at the glittering ceremony at the Hilton Park Lane on 7 February 2007. Wrekin constructed Barkers Pool, part of the multi-award winning Gold Route - further details in Solutions.

The annual RTPI Planning Awards recognise the diversity of planning achievements, from large-scale spatial planning through to small-scale environmental enhancements.

Barker’s Pool also won Gold in the 2006 Town Centre Environment Awards run by the BCSC (British Council of Shopping Centres).
